How much do I earn?+
20% of the client's monthly retainer, every month they stay active. On a $5,000/mo retainer that's $1,000/mo — recurring, not one-time. It keeps paying as long as they're a client.
When and how do I get paid?+
Automatically, through Stripe. You complete a quick Stripe verification (bank + ID) once. After that, every time a referred client's retainer charges successfully, your 20% is transferred to your bank. No invoices, no minimums.
Do you handle my taxes?+
No — and that's by design. Stripe collects your details (a W-9 for U.S. affiliates, a W-8BEN for non-U.S.) and issues your tax forms directly, like a 1099-K. We never see or handle your tax information; we just send the payouts. Full details are in the Affiliate Program Agreement.
How is a referral tracked?+
Two ways: your link drops a 90-day first-touch cookie, and your personal code can be entered at checkout (great for podcast and video reads). Either way, the client is stamped to you durably at signup.
Is this the same as the agency program?+
No. Agencies buy from us wholesale and resell under their own brand at their own price. Affiliates simply refer clients to Icarus Works and earn a 20% recurring commission. Different program, different console — pick what fits you.
